Initial Consultation
If you already have a specific matter that goes beyond a general enquiry or questions regarding our services, we will be pleased to assist you with a comprehensive and detailed initial consultation. During this meeting, we will collect the relevant information, analyse your situation together, address your questions directly and discuss the next steps to be taken.
Please note that our tax advisory services do not include the autonomous regions of the Basque Country or Navarre, as these regions have a specific regional tax regime.
The initial consultation always takes place with an expert specialised in your specific matter (lawyer, tax advisor, business consultant, etc.), ensuring comprehensive legal and tax advice from the very beginning. Our invoice will be sent to you afterwards by email, and payment can be conveniently made by bank transfer from any bank account located in the European Union or Switzerland.

Based on our experience, 45 minutes are usually sufficient for this initial contact. If required, we will be happy to arrange a follow-up consultation included in the agreed fees.
We provide advice in German, Spanish and English. Unless expressly requested otherwise, the consultation will take place in the language used for your initial contact.
How does the initial consultation take place?
To help us prepare the consultation, you are welcome to send us a brief description of your matter by email or via our contact form. You may also attach any relevant documents. Documents received from authorities, official requests, tax audits, etc., may be particularly relevant, as they allow us to discuss the next steps and applicable deadlines directly during the consultation.

What does the initial consultation include?
The initial consultation serves both to obtain an initial understanding of your situation and to provide specific advice and answers to your existing questions. If additional services are required, these can be discussed during the consultation and the next steps can be planned accordingly.
If you already have documents available for review, you may send them to us in advance by email. You may also provide a brief description of the situation and, where applicable, the specific questions you would like to address. This allows us to reduce the time spent collecting information and begin directly with the legal or tax advice.
The initial consultation is intended to provide general advice and establish contact regarding a possible professional engagement. Please understand that during the initial consultation we do not provide written answers, nor do we send subsequent written summaries or respond to additional written queries afterwards. Even if the initial consultation results in the beginning of a professional relationship, neither the client nor our law firm is obliged to accept or undertake any further engagement. All information and documents are protected from the outset by the lawyer’s professional duty of confidentiality.
